Rachel Hufnagel, PA

I moved to Northern Colorado after completing my Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University and have really enjoyed beginning my career as a board certified PA in urology. I enjoy the wide variety that urology offers – from patient age ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, to treating a number of medical conditions, to screening for prostate, bladder and kidney cancer – I enjoy the many aspects this specialty provides.

To me, the most rewarding aspect of practicing medicine is improving patient’s quality of life, whether that be through medications or lifestyle modification recommendations, I love seeing the difference it can make in a patient’s day-to-day life.

In my free time, I love to be in the mountains with my husband and husky puppy, Thor. We love it all – hiking, camping, skiing, you name it. My undergraduate degree is a BS in nutritional sciences from Oklahoma State University, go pokes!
