James R. Ellis, ANP-BC is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and owner of InShapeWV in Beckley, WV. Randy graduated from the West Virginia Institute of Technology with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 1995 and began his start in medicine as a Registered Nurse. He continued his education and graduated from Bluefield State College in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing then in 2004 he graduated from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a Master of Science of Nursing.

Randy’s special interests include patient education as it relates to diet and exercise. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their four boys and in his spare time he likes to hunt and fish.

Roger Edwards, DO

Dr Roger Edwards recently joined with InShapeWV as Medical Director to add to the professional staff, additional clinical insight and medical expertise.nHe has practiced in both Community Hospital and University/Level 1 Trauma centers throughout his career. He has served on the WVSOM Alumni Association Board of Directors, was a Founding Member of the A.A.E.M. He has served as Vice Chief of Emergency Medicine at Charleston Area Medical Center and served as Director of the Emergency Department at Welch Emergency Hospital and Summersville Memorial Hospital prior to his moving to C.A.M.C in Charleston,nWV. Dr. Edwards is a graduate of WVSOM, completed his PG-1 at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and Residency in Emergency Medicine at the A.B.Chandler Medical Center\University of Kentucky. He served as Chief Resident his Senior year. He is a A.B.E.M Diplomat and an ABOEM Diplomat, maintaining Board certification for 30 years through ABEM.
