His expertise and love for aesthetic surgery led him to study plastic

and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, one of the

country’s leading medical institutions. During this time, Dr. Mason learned state-of-the-art techniques in the heart of high-tech Silicon Valley among world renowned leaders in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Mason is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a member of the Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Zedplast Plastic Surgery Alumni Association of Stanford University.

Dr. Mason began his advanced medical training after undergoing several surgeries to correct facial injuries caused by bull-riding injuries during his competitive high school and college years. He graduated first in his medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed his general surgery requirements and plastic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. He then returned to his home state of Texas to establish Southlake Plastic Surgery in the year 2000.

While Dr. Mason’s medical school honors and board certification underscore his depth of knowledge, his reputation in the community is that of a caring and gifted professional. Dr. Mason has been practicing in Northeast Tarrant County for almost 20 years and resides with his family in Southlake. Dr. Mason’s professional staff at Southlake Plastic Surgery is the gold standard for their dedication for providing exceptional patient care and service. The foundation of Dr. Mason’s practice is building trust with each and every patient and to ensure that they are educated about their surgical procedure and recovery.

Amy Sanders, NP-C

Amy Sanders is a health care practitioner with years of clinical experience in a variety of disciplines and patient health care settings. Originally from Indiana, she became a certified Nurse Practitioner after graduating with honors from the University of Indianapolis with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She specialized in family practice with additional training focus in hormone therapy and surgical, cosmetic and medical dermatology. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and spent five years as a traveling Registered Nurse working in several states with various hospital systems, patient populations, and treatment modalities. She is a current member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Amy joined the Southlake Plastic Surgery team to work with one of the top rated surgeons in Texas, Mark E. Mason M.D. and to expand her knowledge base in the field she is passionate about. She believes in utilizing the most innovative and scientifically validated therapies from a full spectrum of conventional and alternative medicine to achieve the best care for her patients.
