Krista is married to her husband Curtis Gene, and loves the outdoors. Her favorite past times include working with cattle and horses, spending time with her red and blue heeler dogs, and gardening in the spring.

Joshua Allen, DO

Dr. Allen was born in Lufkin, Tx and grew up in the Pollock community.

He graduated from Central High School and attended Angelina Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned a degree in Psychology and Biology.

He then attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa. After medical school he returned to Texas and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine with Texas A&M in Corpus Christi.

He has practiced Emergency Medicine in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches area since 2013. He currently resides in Lufkin with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys coaching and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Silverback Jiu Jitsu in Lufkin.

His own medical journey has contributed to his interest and desire to pursue Functional Medicine. His desire is to improve the health of his community by guiding them through the complex world of healthcare. He believes a well-balanced diet and exercise is the foundation to better health which is often overlooked by our current healthcare system.
