Hammad Qureshi, MD

Dr. Qureshi is a Family Physician board certified by ABFM and has been serving the Galveston County area for the last 8 years at UTMB.

He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UTMB where he trained medical students and Family Medicine residents over the years. While at UTMB he received Resident Teacher Award in 2016 and Faculty of the Year Award in 2017.

His passion lies in physical and mental wellness. He is an avid runner and competes in races throughout Texas having completed two marathons and a 70.3 Ironman. This passion has sparked a desire to educate and motivate his patients to lead a healthier lifestyle. His special interests include overall health, nutrition, chronic disease management, sports medicine and weight loss.
