Tierney Lara is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner, specializing in the evaluation and optimization of hormones for men and women alike. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kettering Medical College. Before returning to earn her Master of Science at the University ofIndianapolis, she spent 17 years in various facets of nursing, finding her niche as a critical care nurse.This is where she identified a major need for and a calling toward preventative medicine. Utilizing a wellness-based philosophy, she is committed to focusing on the unique needs and goals of each individual patient. She is passionate about educating, empowering, and walking side by side with patients on their journey toward optimal wellness. Tierney practices what she advocates for her patients and is always seeking forward thinking to promote healthy living for herself and her family. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified by BioTE Medical. She has been trained to evaluate and treat her patients’ hormonal needs using a holistic approach that utilizes natural, bioidentical hormones. ? Tierney resides in Westfield with her 2 children Liam and Berkley. Her interests and hobbies include coaching and playing soccer, cooking, taking on new home renovations projects and enjoying with friends and family.
Shelby is the first Board Certified Physician Assistant to join Spencer Wellness Centre. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from Arizona State University where she studied Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. She completed her second master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Indiana State University and since then has focused mainly on procedural based medicine, including experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery. She is a member of theAmerican Academy of Physician Assistants, Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants, and is a Certified BioTe medical practitioner.
Over the last 15 years she has developed a passion for building relationships with patients, while educating them on positive lifestyle choices that will affect their overall health and well-being. This led to her focus in wellness medicine and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their English Bulldog, Walter.
Kelly is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in hormone optimization and general wellness.
She is certified through BioTe Medical to treat bioidentical hormone replacement in both men and women.
Kelly has over 20 years combined experience in emergency medicine, cardiac, transplant and orthopedic care.
She received a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in speech communication from Indiana University in 1988.
Eight years was then spent working in the pharmaceutical industry.
In 1998 Kelly completed her bachelor of science in nursing, graduating with high distinction from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. Kelly attended the University of Indianapolis where she completed an elective clinical rotation in functional medicine.
She received her master’s degree in nursing from the university in 2017.
