Dr. Vickie James is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner with 36 years’ experience in both rural and urban communities.

James strongly believes that the only way to conquer fear is to create workable solutions. In an effort to provide affordable healthcare options to the under and uninsured, she established Essential Medical Care –a boutique medical practice that offers innovative alternative medical services including neurostimulation, viscou-supplementaion, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and stem cell therapy.

In addition to running a thriving private practice, Dr. James is a courtesy medical staff member at WellStar Medical Center South and Piedmont Henry Medical Center. She is a current member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and the Atlanta Medical Association,

Dr. James has been a Certified Wound Specialist and served as an Adjunct Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. James served as the Chief of Extended Care Services for Grady Health System and as Medical Director of Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center which is the largest Nursing Home in the State of Georgia. Dr. James also held medical staff appointments at hospitals in Georgia, Arkansas and Pennsylvania.

A frequent lecturer, Dr. James speaks on topics regarding health maintenance and the prevention of disease. She hosted a national, Telly award-winning television show Health for the Nation which aired on the MBC Network – a cable network targeting 30 million urban viewers.

Dr. James completed an externship in Tropical Medicine at the University of Lagos Medical School in Nigeria and has traveled to Zambia as a missionary volunteer to establish medical clinics.

She is an active member of the Atlanta Women Business League and a member of Word of Faith Love Center, in East Point, GA.

Dana Wilson, MSN, APRN

Dana Wilson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 19 years of experience. She specializes in preventative health & wellness care and family medicine and is a strong believer in purpose. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia (UAPRN), and a certified CPR instructor. Mrs. Wilson also provides services of natural weight loss and management as well as family planning. Mrs. Wilson is completing her doctorate of nursing (DNP) from Chamberlain University. She’s an active member of her community and her church, Voices of Faith Ministries in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
