Calvin L. Hobbs, MD is an Obstetrics and Gynecology practice that has been servicing Augusta, GA for over 30 years. Since opening, Dr. Hobbs has been committed to providing the best, comprehensive care to women in every stage of their lives. He builds long-lasting relationships with each and every patient and wants everyone to feel like family.

Hobbs is a board-certified physician with a Bachelor of Science degree from Mercer University with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 1977. He obtained ancillary pre-medical studies at Harvard University in 1975. He then received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1981. Dr. Hobbs did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia. He was voted “Chief Resident of the Year” during his final year of residency.

Hobbs has remained active in academic medicine, teaching resident physicians and medical students. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor in both the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Medicine at Augusta University, as well as Clinical Instructor for Ross University School of Medicine.
