Tracey Lemon-Sams, MD

Born and raised in Atlanta, Tracey R. Lemon-Sams, MD, FACOG,

is a board-certified OB/GYN and founder of the Georgia Center for Women, with locations in Atlanta, Emory Midtown, and Morrow, Georgia. Continuing her commitment to the Georgia community, Dr. Lemon-Sams offers patients a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology services for improving and managing their health. Dr. Lemon-Sams is also experienced with robotic surgical systems like the minimally invasive da Vinci Surgical System.

Dr. Lemon-Sams received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Lemon-Sams began her medical career with a residency at Tulane University Hospital & Clinic in New Orleans.

Dr. Lemon-Sams is also a researcher, serving as principal investigator at Georgia Center for Research. She performs clinical trials and tests the safety and effectiveness of new drugs and medical technologies. Dr. Lemon-Sams is also a speaker for Takeda Pharmaceuticals and lends her expertise to medical students as a clinical advisor and instructor.

Dr. Lemon-Sams has received awards for her commitment to the health care industry including the Alma Wells Givens Award and the Atlanta Medical Association Award. As a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she continues to pursue industry knowledge to provide the best care to her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Lemon-Sams spends much of her time boating with her family, including her two sons, Parker and Payton.

Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH

Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, is a board-certified physician providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. Trained in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecological procedures including the da Vinci Surgical System, Dr. Samaddar provides patients with personalized comprehensive care at Georgia Center for Women in Atlanta, Emory Midtown, and Morrow, Georgia.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Samaddar went on to earn a Master of Public Health and Health Informatics from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Samaddar completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia where she received a Doctor of Medicine degree.

After completing her medical education, Dr. Samaddar began her career with a residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She’s received training in high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology, fertility, and urogynecology. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Samaddar has been in a number of publications relating to breast cancer and antiestrogen resistance.

A current member of both the Augusta OB/GYN Society and the American Medical Association, Dr. Samaddar continues to strive beyond industry standards to provide the best treatments and knowledge to her patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Samaddar is the parent of two dogs and spends much of her time traveling, dancing, and cooking.
