Accomplished board-certified urogynecologist, Uzoma Nwaubani, MD, FACOG, FFPMRS, provides the highest-caliber medical care for men, women, and adolescents at NUWA WORLD in Wildwood, Florida. NUWA WORLD is the only practice in Wildwood with a fellowship-trained urogynecologist dedicated to urogynecologic surgery.

For over two decades, Dr. Nwaubani has been successfully practicing medicine. She specializes in gynecology, urology, and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nwaubani is double board-certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery as well as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).

Dr. Nwaubani graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka College of Medicine in Nsukka, Nigeria. She finished her medical residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

Dr. Nwaubani is also fellowship-trained from the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. Dr. Nwaubani treats a range of conditions, including abnormal vaginal bleeding, endometriosis, genital HPV, female infertility, pelvic organ prolapses, urinary incontinence, polycystic ovarian syndrome, hormone imbalance, and vaginal dryness. Shannon Grow, NP

Shannon Grow, APRN, FNP-C graduated from Central Florida College with an associates degree in nursing in 1990.

Upon graduation she began her career working on a medical surgical floor at Baptist Medical Center, followed by several years of dedication to Public Health and pediatrics.

While working for the Department of Health, she completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from Jacksonville University in 2016 and her masters degree at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts in August 2019 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Shannon received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in September 2019.

Shannon Grow FNP-C is passionate about helping others and treating the whole woman.

She works for the NUWA World practice and focuses on an array of health-care services including gynecology and urology, well-woman exams, hormone balance and Bodilyft Medspa services (laser facial treatments targeting fine lines and wrinkles, laser hair removal, tattoo removal and body contouring with warm sculpture).

Our center of attention is to treat the patient’s entire urogynecology needs, hormonal imbalances and cosmetic concerns that may be causing them anguish or stress.

She feels strongly about providing education and options to her patients so that they can be involved in making informed decisions regarding their health care.

Together, with Dr. Uzoma Nwaubani and their team, they care for the patient as a whole person and not just a diagnosis.
