Nurse Practitioner Carolyn Zaumeyer has been specializing in women’s health (gynecology) for more than 20 years. She is the author of two books and more than 27 publications, has served on the Advisory Board of the Duke/Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program and is an established public speaker, having presented nationally and internationally at more than 100 conferences.

After establishing the first independent nurse practitioner practice in Florida in 1994, Carolyn has become a well-known expert and resource for nurse practitioners embarking on business ownership, women’s health, and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy

After the Women’s Health Initiative Trial in 2002 revealed that synthetic hormones could increase women’s risk of breast cancer, heart attack, stroke, blood clots and Alzheimer’s disease, Carolyn decided to devote her studies to Bio-Identical Hormones. She wanted to learn how to prescribe them safely and effectively. Carolyn has traveled throughout the United States and has studied under the most prominent experts in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) — Dr. Sangeeta Pati in Orlando, Dr. Neil Rouzier in Salt Lake City, Dr. Daved Rosensweet in Naples, Florida and Dr. Gary Donovitz in Dallas. She is knowledgeable of all the delivery methods of hormone replacement and is especially excited and satisfied with the BioTE pelleting system.

Carolyn was the first BioTE Medical Certified Practitioner in Florida and was recently invited to become Faculty for BioTE Medical — providing BHRT training on the national level to physicians and Nurse Practitioners.

As a proud member of the Forever Health Practitioner Network, whose national spokesperson is Suzanne Somers; Carolyn has worked with Suzanne on several projects. Carolyn and Suzanne have a great rapport and are like-minded in their beliefs of healthy aging and BHRT.

Carolyn has dedicated her practice to BHRT to men and women, but also provides office gynecology and cosmetic injections at her Fort Lauderdale office.

Rachael’s passion is to help others that allowed her to advance her career and continue her education. She earned her Master’s Degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Rachael has experience working in a hospital setting as a surgical nurse. Her surgical career has afforded her the opportunity working with numerous renowned Plastic Surgeons in the South Florida area.

She is an expert in procedures such as Botox, Dysport, Dermafillers, Kybella, and skin rejuvenation. Not only has she learned from, but currently teaches at the Esthetic Skin Institute in Fort Lauderdale, where she uses her skills to teach other Nurse Practitioners and Doctors. As an instructor she’s not only keeping up her best skills but strong enough in them to train eager medical professionals to also be their best. It’s not often you find someone with heart, talent and skill but you will find that in Rachael.

As a Nurse Practitioner, she believes that she is given the rare opportunity to spend an ample amount of quality time with her patients. Rachael values her patients’ time and most importantly she treats each and every patient as if they were her own family members. Keeping them fabulous on the inside and out!

Her career experience and desire to help others look and feel fabulous has helped Rachael develop her passion for Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She has recently been trained in the BioTE Method and is also caring for Hormone Therapy patients at LowTE Florida.

Rachael moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2012 from Ohio. She’s the proud mother of a beautiful daughter who lives in Ohio with her two incredible grand-daughters.
