Kathy England, RN, CNP

Kathy England is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. A Colorado native, she attended West Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She then completed her ANP degree at the University of Colorado. She additionally holds a Masters in Health Care Administration from the University of Denver.

In 2015, Kathy expanded her practice to include hormone optimization and menopausal hormone therapy. She became certified as a BioTE(R) medical provider to provide hormone pellet therapy. Kathy is a member of the Colorado Nursing Association, the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, Resolve, and Nurses in Reproductive Medicine Professional group. mMarried with one son, Kathy loves to hike, bike and read in her spare time.

Pamela Snyder, MD

Dr. Snyder has been with WHCA since 1995, after practicing for a short time in Greeley, CO.

She completed medical school and her residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL in 1992.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology from Greenville College graduating Summa Cum Laude.

She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Snyder enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.

Her special interests include minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynecology and hormone therapy.

In her free time, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending time with her family.

She is married with two children, three stepchildren and a new grandson!

She also enjoys running, Pilates, gardening and travel.

Monica Abarca, MD

Dr. Abarca is a native Coloradan, born and raised in Denver and Greeley – she received her medical degree in 1991 from the University of Colorado School of

Medicine.

She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado.

After completing her internship and residency at the University of Colorado, she practiced for a short time at Thornton Obstetrics and Gynecology before joining Women’s Health Care Associates in 1998.

She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Abarca has four grown children. Her personal interests are reading, running, hiking, biking, as well as family and volunteer activities. She enjoys international travel and participates in medical mission trips. She also brings a special talent to WHCA as she is fluent in Spanish.

Karen Ashbeck, DO

Dr. Ashbeck joined WHCA in 2003 after completing her internship and residency at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.

She is a 1998 graduate of Des Moines University in Iowa and received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

She is Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Senior Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Ashbeck is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Osteopathic Association, as well as the Colorado Society of Osteopathic medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

She has two children, Madeline and Evan, and a handsome golden-doodle, Lambeau.

Other interests include travel, theater, and skiing.

Catrina Bubier, MD

Dr. Bubier joined Women’s Health Care Associates in September of 2004 after completing her residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she was selected to be a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She proudly completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Science.

She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Fellow. Dr. Bubier currently serves as Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sky Ridge Hospital through 2020, and was a previous member of the Credentialing Committee at the same institution from 2015-2018. She is the current President of OB/GYN Affiliates through 2021, a leadership role where Dr. Bubier coordinates organization and collaboration between 12 OB/GYN practices in the Denver Metro area. Dr. Bubier also currently serves on the Physician Leadership Council at Littleton Hospital.

Dr. Bubier enjoys all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology, but has a special interest in infertility and high risk obstetrics. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband of over 20 years and 2 teenage children. Her interests include attending her kids sporting events, outdoor activities and travelling whenever time allows.

Ricko Rask, NP

I have a background as an ER and ICU Nurse Practitioner and I have been working in a variety of other settings since moving to Colorado including wound care, corrections and urgent care. After discovered BioTE pellets at Women””s Health Care Associates and have loved to see how AMAZING they make patients feel, absolutely life changing for so many men and women.
