Mindy Willits, NP

Mindy Willits is extensively trained in her field, and, having worked as a nurse practitioner for more than 35 years, she’s also one of the more experienced nurse practitioners in Denver.

Mindy completed her undergraduate education in nursing at the University of Nebraska and later completed the Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Colorado School of Nursing.

While Mindy provides a host of healthcare services for women who live in Denver, her special areas of interest are menopause and hormone replacement therapy management as well as diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of human papillomavirus and abnormal pap smears. In addition, she also provides contraception services, performs ultrasound, and works with the other healthcare providers at the practice to provide obstetrical care.

Mindy and her husband, Tom, have three grown children, Lindsey, Whitney and Billy and two grandsons. When she is not at the office she can be found paddle boarding Colorado rivers and lakes, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time with her dog, Zoe.

Abbey Schmeisser, ANP

Abbey completed her undergraduate at Research College of Nursing in Kansas City where she worked for Overland Park Regional for the Women’s unit.

She later went on and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado with a specialty as a Women””s Health Nurse Practitioner. Abbey also has an undergraduate in Business and her MBA from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS.

Abbey has spent 8 years working closely with OB GYN doctors in the GYN Post-Operative Care Unit(PACU) at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. With her passion for women’s health, and her extensive knowledge on woman’s care, she is now joining our practice as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Abbey has 3 young kids so when she is not at work you can find her spending time outdoors with her family or hitting the slopes!

Alisa Sajadi, CNM

Alisa has extensive experience in both Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She has 14 years of clinical experience and has delivered over 1,000 babies in her career.

She has worked in Atlanta, Georgia;

San Diego, California;

and,

for the past 5 years, here in the Denver metro area.

Alisa combines her clinical expertise with an up-to-date academic excellence as she is currently a professor at Regis University teaching nursing students.

She is not only sharing her knowledge and experience with students, but continuing her own education pursuing a Doctorate degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Alisa’s passion is communicating with her patients and treating both their physical and emotional concerns.

As of now, Alisa will see patients on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.

She will be delivering babies at Swedish Hospital.

In addition to Obstetrics, Alisa will be providing Gynecologic care and BioTE therapy in our office.

Diana Buckwalter, MSN, FNP, CNM
Diane Torres , WHCNP

Diane Torres WHNP, born and raised in Ohio. Came to Colorado in her 20’s and went to school to specialize in Women’s health.

Diane has been practiced in Private practice, Denver Health Medical Center and was the Gynecology specialist at the state

Prison system. She has been in the Women’s health field for 39 years. Diane has a BSN and is a certified Women’s health

Nurse Practitioner. Her focus is caring for women in all walks of life. Education on the body changes throughout life,

and helping women enjoy the challenges and changes. Diane has 2 sons, a husband, a German Shepherd, and a Grand puppy.

They enjoy camping, fishing, and family activities. She loves to spend time with her family.
