Lynn Mason, FNP-BC

Lynn received her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2007. Three years earlier, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Iowa. She gained valuable experience as a Medical/Surgical nurse in the hospital setting during graduate school and loved living in Colorado so much, she stayed to pursue her NP career.

She worked for 6 years in an outpatient endocrinology clinic where she gained valuable experience and became an expert in managing a variety of diabetic and thyroid patients. She worked extensively on weight management and counseled patients on healthier lifestyles with diet and exercise. She has advanced experience using Armour and Cytomel in addition to Synthroid for thyroid hormone replacement.

She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is excited to be back in family practice. In this setting, she still specializes in thyroid diseases and diabetes, but also manages a variety of medical conditions for all ages. She has experience in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan, as well as performing physical exams. She likes to focus on preventive medicine and education to help patients live their best lives.
