Spice Lussier, NMD

Dr Spice Lussier is a licensed Naturopathic physician in Arizona, board certified in anti-aging medicine and medical director of Desert Wellness Center. She obtained a bachelor of science in Biomedical Chemistry from Oral Roberts University. Prior to pursuing training in medical school, she spent time working in an HMO medical office and realized there was something more to medicine than just spending 10 minutes with patients and giving prescriptions. She discovered her calling while obtaining Naturopathic medical degree at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. With over 10 years experience in healthcare she now practices natural medicine with a focus on treating the whole person and not just dealing with symptoms.

Her specialties include anti-aging medicine, hormone balancing and weight loss.

Dr. Lussier was formerly adjunct faculty at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, providing clinical instructions for students.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and camping in the great outdoors.

Courtney Cronin, NMD

Dr Courtney Cronin received her pre-med Bachelor’s Degree from University of Arizona in 2002, and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2006 from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

She completed her Residency in Family Practice with SCNM.

Since 2007, Dr. Cronin has been in private practice with the Desert Wellness Center, and teaching at SCNM.

She has considerable experience in instruction, lecturing, patient care, and practice management.

She has studied under Naturopathic Cardiologist, Dr. Decker Weiss, and has worked in Addiction and Rehabilitation medicine.

In private practice, Dr. Cronin has focused on metabolic medicine, weight loss, hormone management (including thyroid/adrenal), natural pain management, stem cell therapies, and aesthetics.

This offers her patients the ability to look great and feel even better.

She treats men and women of all ages and dispositions, for both acute and chronic conditions.

In the classroom, Dr. Cronin specializes in Clinical Practice.

She is passionate about helping students interact with their patients compassionately, while finding an accurate diagnosis.

Over time this has evolved into teaching physicians as well and offering weekend CME seminars focused on endocrinology, hormone management, weight loss, and more.

An Arizona native, she enjoys time with her family, yoga, camping, waterskiing, and ATV riding.

She is married to an incredible man, and they are privileged to have 2 young boys and 1 cuddly dog.

Barbara Ezrre, NMD

At age 10, Dr. Ezrre was fascinated by a hip replacement surgery she saw on TV and knew she wanted to be a doctor. As a pre-med undergraduate student working in the Emergency Room at Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital, she realized that many patients could have been spared trips to the ER if they had been provided preventative care along the way. Dr. Ezrre graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University (2001) and went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with Honors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (2006). Upon graduation from her medical program, Dr. Ezrre completed a Residency in Naturopathic Family Practice (2007). Dr. Ezrre focuses on treating Women’s Health, Chronic Fatigue, Mental Health, Thyroid and other Hormonal Imbalances, Weight Loss and Nutritional Counseling, Diabetes Prevention and Management, Allergies and Digestive Issues. Dr. Ezrre loves treating women because, as a wife and mother herself, she knows that by helping mom feel better and focus on her own health, this will translate into improved health for the whole family.

As a faculty member at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), Dr. Ezrre has taught clinical neurology and multiple didactic courses preparing students for clinical training as well as providing medical care at the Sojourner Center, a domestic violence shelter for women and children.

This work propelled her to co-author a book entitled, The Pocket Reference for Naturopathic Clinicians, a one-of-a-kind reference book that integrates diagnostic and therapeutic information into one resource for naturopathic medical students and physicians. It is a highly valued reference for naturopathic clinicians at all naturopathic schools across the United States.

Dr. Ezrre also advocates and works towards making naturopathic care available to the uninsured and underserved patients in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Dr. Ezrre is an Arizona Native and speaks Spanish fluently. In her free time, Dr. Ezrre loves travelling, cooking and gardening.

Kristine Wallace, NMD

Dr Kris Wallace is a licensed Naturopathic Physician with a passion for family medicine.

She graduated summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and began her career as a health educator and health coach.

Recognizing the whole person in a journey to health, Dr. Wallace continued her education and earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

With over 20 years in the health field, she now practices Naturopathic Medicine with a focus on the whole person not just symptoms. She uses the most effective natural treatments in conjunction with the latest medical research.

Her practice focus includes pediatric and adolescent health, hormone balancing, anti-aging, acne and other skin conditions, mental health and acute routine illness.

Kris has received advanced training in anti-aging and acne facial treatments including PRP (Plasma Rich Platelet), Botox, and facial fillers, pediatric and adolescent specific health concerns including behavioral/attention issues, allergies and gastrointestinal disorders, advanced endocrinology/hormone/thyroid balancing, and biogenomic testing and treatment.

In addition to being a member and former Board Member for the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA), she is also a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Kris’s passion for family medicine stems from her love of her own family as a wife and mother of 4 children.

As a native Arizonan she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and cooking.

Emilee Wayne, NMD

Dr. Emilee Wayne is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who graduated from the University of Memphis with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Biology, and obtained her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has more than a decade of experience in healthcare and has a passion for primary care and endocrinology. Prior to pursuing her training in medical school, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry. This is where she realized that patients were not given the attention or care that they needed.

In order to keep up to date on the latest research and treatments, Dr. Wayne is a member of multiple health organizations, which include the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Wayne’s specialties include integrative primary care with an emphasis in hormone balancing, infertility, weight loss, and preventative medicine. She enjoys facilitating her patients’ healing along with optimizing their health in order to live their best lives possible.

Her personal journey in healthcare is what fuels her passion for primary care. In her free time,

Cara Slater, NMD

Dr. Cara Slater is a licensed Naturopathic Physician.

She graduated from the University of Colorado with a double major in Spanish and International Affairs.

After graduating she began working at a women’s health clinic and discovered her passion for medicine. She continued in the healthcare field until beginning medical school where she graduated magna cum laude from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She has done extensive medical volunteer work abroad; including working in Thailand with refugees, working in Costa Rica at an HIV/AIDS treatment center and numerous trips to Mexico with Naturopaths without Boarders.

Dr. Slater specializes in integrative primary care with a focus on hormone balance, fertility,

GI health, autoimmune conditions, natural pain management, and aesthetics. She has received advanced training in nutritional IV therapies, regenerative injections, hormone replacement and aesthetics.

As the daughter of two naturopathic physicians she was raised with an appreciation for the value of natural medicine.

She takes time to listen to the patient’s concerns and address the root cause. She enjoys educating and empowering patients to successfully improve their own health.

Dr. Slater grew up in Flagstaff, AZ.

Daisey Anglow, NMD

Dr. Anglow is a state of Arizona licensed naturopathic physician and a first year resident with Desert Wellness Center. She earned her pre-med Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science, Dietetics and Biology from Syracuse University in New York and obtained her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She spent her undergrad years working at the Veteran Hospital, engaged in research at the state of New York Medical University and wrote for the Syracuse University health magazine. After graduation, she volunteered at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute while earning her certificate in medical Spanish from Boston College.

She became passionate about naturopathic medicine through her high school years battling her own health struggles with asthma and looking for ways to help herself. She excels in taking time to educate her patients on how simple lifestyle changes can create long term wellness.

Dr. Anglow is fluent in French and Spanish and frequently spends her time volunteering at community health clinics. In her free-time, she enjoys baking, playing music, and spending time with her dog Kooper.
