Dr. Tamucci graduated from Birmingham-Southern College. She earned her medical degree at The University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Tamucci is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Jefferson County Medical Association, and the Alabama Medical Association. She is the current chairperson of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brookwood Medical Center.

She is also the proud mother of twin boys. They are the glorious result of determined infertility treatment. The multiple pregnancy was complicated and the twins delivered prematurely. They resided in the Brookwood Hospital Neonatal intensive care unit for two weeks. The twins are well. Dr. Tamucci feels so blessed for the opportunity to raise her children. Simultaneously, she feels privileged to participate in the care of women throughout their lives.
